Staff or tourist:Tourist. Though he visits the place a lot to practice snowboarding and could practically be called an inhabitant there.

chicks, being awesome, teasing others, pancakes, potatoes, sausages, Friedrich II, ice cream, his diaries, being alone.
Dislikes:
being unawesome, cleaning his own room, being alone, having nothing to do, the cold.
Personality:
If you look up giant ego in the dictionary I'm sure the name you'd find would be 'Gilbert Beilschmidt'. The man has been full of himself through his entire life, not to mention how much he absolutely loves to inform this to others around him at l east 10 times a day.
Not only this- but he could be considered a hooligan back when he was younger, though he has turned slightly less aggressive. That doesn't change the fact he's extremely childish and that he still enjoys pulling pranks and bothering others. Even though he doesn't like to admit it, he feels lonely quite easily and he hates it. This is why you can often find him running around and pestering others for attention. But his annoying behaviour only quiets down when he spots something cute and he'll fawn over said object or person until he grows tired of it. (which often doesn't happen)
Gilbert gets easily pumped up to work on things when it involves him getting praised but when he sneezes he immediately loses interest and goes off to do something else.
History:
Gilbert has hated the cold through his entire life. This however never stopped him from wanting to be a snowboarder and he always made sure to visit the Swiss Alps to practice. Though a better choice would have been the Alps in Austria, he never really did like the Austrians so he settled for Switzerland.
Even though he loved this sport, he never moved out of Germany simply because that was his home and it was way less cold.
Gilbert had a pretty average life, though without a mother or father to take proper care of him since they died when he was younger. He also had a little brother who he had to take care off, but by now the roles have been switched and it's his little brother that took more care of them then Gilbert did.
It didn't matter to Gilbert however, he wanted to become the best snowboarder around- if he wasn't that already.

Gilbert looked around the classroom. The teacher was giving them a test about something he didn't really care about, nor did he actually know any of the answers, so instead he looked for his next victim.
Grinning when he noticed a rather nerdy student two tables in front of him, he grabbed for a rubber band he managed to keep a hold of. Placing his eraser so he could shoot it in the innocent child's direction he aimed and let it go, resulting in a shrieking child that definitely didn't expect it. Gilbert grinned, bulls-eye! His grinning quickly ceased however when he noticed the extremely pissed off look his teacher sent him after hearing from the victim what happened. How do they always know it was me! He pouted, it was unfair to be so easily misjudged! Not that he didn't deserve it... but still!
He was then grabbed by the ear rather painfully by the teacher who started rambling in French at him, which he didn't understand a single thing of, and was taken out of the classroom. Great, he had to fucking clean again! Why do they have to punish him? It's not his fault tests are fucking boring! He continued to mope while the janitor dragged him off to clean the windows swearing he would pull a prank on the stupid teacher. Nobody sends the awesomest guy away without consequences!!
