Personality:
Natalia is an individual who strives for perfection in everything she does, and she expects nothing less from her students. It takes a lot for her to give up on something she has set her heart on, and her raw determination when it comes to such situations is something to behold. However, perfection is not something easily achieved, and as such she often feels that she has let herself and everyone around her down for whatever reason.
She is a quiet and calculating girl by nature, preferring not to be the centre of attention, instead simply observing from the sidelines. Her polite and graceful manner of speaking and acting somehow seems to fit her appearance perfectly, so it comes as a shock to most people when another, more harsh side to her is revealed. In most cases, she will think over her options rationally before acting or speaking. Though, when she comes to a final decision about something, she absolutely refuses to acknowledge anyone else’s opinion on the matter. Her word is final, at least in her own head.
When it comes to her job, she is strict and ruthless with her students, accepting nothing from them unless it conforms to her own high standards, even if that results in hours and hours of strenuous practise. She will not stop until every tiny little detail has been cleaned up. It’s almost as if she assumes a completely different, more confident, intimidating and somewhat sadistic persona as soon as she is out on the ice.
For this reason, a lot of people who have heard of her extreme methods judge her quickly and decide that she must be a terrifying person without getting to know her first. In all honesty, this hurts her, though she makes sure not to show that outwardly. Her façade of coldness in the face of almost every other human being is faultless (however, she blushes rather easily in any situation, something which she abhors about herself).
On the inside, however, she subconsciously wishes that someone will someday step up and try to get past her outer guise, and get through to the lonely little girl on the inside that only wants to be shown some affection.

History:
Natalia moved to Lucerne only a year ago, at the age of eighteen, after she decided that she had to get away from her family somehow and move on - for her own sake. Her somewhat disturbing obsession with her elder brother on a non-platonic level had never bothered her before much, but as soon as she’d hit sixteen, she began to truly realise the implications of what she was getting herself into. Of course, that didn’t stop her from feeling the way she does towards him. She couldn’t help herself.
However, she was not of age, and so could not leave on her own quite yet. She would have to put up with her unbearable urges for a good two years or so before she was free to set out on her own path.
During this time, she became a lot more reserved and antisocial than she had ever been before, so much that her family started to become worried for her, though her brother was more than a little relieved that she seemed to be getting over him. Though, that was not the case at all. Natalia would often cry herself to sleep, and began avoiding her brother so that she would not be tempted. She was determined to give him what he wanted and act like a little sister instead of a clingy lovestruck stalker.
In order to distract herself, she decided to take up ice skating seriously. She’d always felt at home on the ice, but had never considered actually being trained properly in the sport. Within a few months of her training, she was already showing great promise and was progressing at an alarming rate. She became a sort of prodigy, and by the time she was almost eighteen, she had received several awards and medals for her talents.
The day after her eighteenth birthday, she packed up, left the country and headed for a small village within the Swiss Alps that she could envision herself living comfortably in. A while after arriving, she found herself settling in nicely, even if the locals were a little odd. She got a job as a skating teacher, and soon became one of the most infamous instructors in Lucerne, something she would just have to become accustomed to.
She never did quite get over her love - and she is convinced that it is pure love, nothing less - for her brother, but has decided that distancing herself from him is one of the best decisions she has ever made.
Roleplay Sample:
The ceremony had already begun and the students were all filed neatly in rows of seating when a young girl with long platinum hair has sidled in as silently as she could, trying to attract as little attention as possible. She had originally planned on skipping the gathering and attempting to entice her brother to follow her lead, but figured that not showing up on the first day would not do her any favours in trying to survive in this school for another year.
Natalia sighed, unable to spot any empty seats in the back few rows, so instead took to leaning against the wall beside the doors she had come in from. She twiddled with a strand of her hair absentmindedly, not paying much attention to what was being said. What did it matter anyway? Vaguely, she wondered where in the hall her siblings were seated, as she had failed to pick them out from the sea of heads on her way in.
She remained inattentive until she seemed to pick up something about teams, and competition. Oh? What was this? Suddenly finding herself a lot more interested in the subject at hand, Natalia stared at Principal Rome as he made his speech intensely.
A small smirk crept its way onto her rosy lips, and she found her heart rate increasing at the thought of an all out war between the students. Honestly, what kind of a school was this? Still, she wasn’t objecting to the idea. Anything that would help her become closer to her brother…
“Female. Belarus,” she heard the Principal booming out her name, breaking her away from her train of thought. “Codename: Wedding Veil.” It was almost hard not to laugh at the irony. The name was fitting, to say the least. It most definitely described a certain side of her very well, something which she was pleased the teachers seemed to have picked up on. She had heard other ‘codenames’ that were simply mortifying, so was contended with what she had been assigned.
She walked swiftly down the parting of the rows of seating, eyes kept intently on the microphone ahead of her. Completely ignoring the Principal, she took her place before the mic and scanned her audience for a few seconds before speaking softly, and clearly. “I will be joining the Allies, thank you.” And with that, she was returning to her place by the entrance to the hall, satisfied with her decision. Especially since her brother had joined that specific team.
Natalia smiled happily to herself, humming almost inaudibly to herself as she walked. Maybe this year was going to be less disheartening than she had suspected.
( Taken from another place, since I’m too lazy to come up with something new. |D )
